About Velt Audio

Independent by nature.
Connected by sound.

Velt Audio is an independent music and audio technology venture based in Bandung, Indonesia, founded in November 2024.

Our mission

Make room for more ways to create, explore, and share sound.

The company

Music and technology,
in conversation.

Velt Audio brings two connected practices together. Velt Labs focuses on software, virtual instruments, and music applications. Velt Records focuses on independent releases, music production, and artist development.

These practices share a practical question: how can we help an idea become something people can hear and experience? Sometimes the answer is a recording. Sometimes it is an instrument, an interface, or a new way to interact with sound.

We are an early-stage venture, developing our catalogue and capabilities through focused projects. Our work is grounded in the music around us and open to collaborations with artists, developers, and people interested in audio technology.

Where we are coming from

Rooted in Bandung.
Open to what’s next.

November 2024

Velt Audio begins.

An independent venture connecting music work with audio technology.

Our work today

Two divisions, a shared purpose.

Independent music and production through Velt Records. Instrument digitisation and music software development through Velt Labs.

Looking forward

Thoughtful growth.

Develop useful tools, support artist-led music, and build relationships that make the work stronger.

What guides the work

Care in the details.

01

Respect for origins

Keep a sound’s cultural context visible. Digital tools can introduce a tradition to new listeners without taking the place of the people who sustain it.

02

Creative independence

Make space for the artist’s identity and the developer’s curiosity. Build around the particular needs of each project.

03

Clarity over promises

Share the work, its purpose, and its current stage. Let recordings and working projects speak for themselves.

Build something with us.

For partnerships, startup programs, creative collaborations, and conversations about music technology.
