Digitising an instrument is a way to invite more people to encounter it, learn its sound, and use it in their own music.
The Kolotik projects explore that idea through sampling and interaction. Our aim is to bring a traditional sound from Ciamis, West Java, into contemporary Indonesian music-making while keeping its origins visible.
Alongside sample libraries, our development interests include virtual instruments, VST plugins, and mobile music applications. Each project is presented at its current stage, with practical information about how it works.
